what’s an overall better camera- a nikon d60 or a canon rebel xt?

i have a canon rebel xt, and i’m so sick of it. the quality just isn’t as good as what nikons seem to have.

would it be worth it to save up for a nikon d60? nikons seem to have a lot sharper picture, too. AND it’s 10 mp, and mine only has 8 mp.

any camera advice out there?

Save your pennies and get the D90 … the pixel count is not that important. See link:

i agree… but if 4-digit prices for a DSLR makes you break into a sweat when you pull out your wallet… look into a D80.

Yes, Nikon made a great quality camera.Nikon D60 is good but I suggest you should save up your money for Nikon D80 or D90
